The main focus of my Sketchbook is to explore the concept of utopia and dystopia through using objects and elements that I like. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the pieces which incorporate images from my iPhone camera, images online, scanned images, and my old film photos.
My Portfolio, "Origins", is a collection of reimagined origin and mythological stories from my culture, and others. Taking inspiration from Superflat artists Aya Takano and Chiho Aoshima, I created digital drawings and edited them onto film photos. Among the stories include Au Co and Lac Long Quan, Chang'e and Hou Yi, the Monkey King, and Plato's Symposium.
